Note
Grommets are used for cable routing in control cabinets, housings and fuse boxes. They permit the problem-free routing of cables through outlets and openings. They are easy to apply and offer protection against sharp edges. Additionally, the use of cable grommets provides a certain amount of strain relief on the cables.
EPDM has very good ageing resistance, even when exposed to UV and ozone (e.g. outdoors). Other positive properties of EPDM are its high elasticity and good chemical resistance. EPDM is resistant to oxygen and diluted acids, but not to mineral oil products.
